Bystanders are present about 85 percent of the times. So in theory bullying should be an ending thing but since kids only stand up only about 20 percent of the time, that gives an excuse to why bullying has not reached its end. Also they underestimate the power that one has to end bullying. Some bystanders believe that it’s not their business or  fear it will make them a new target. Or perhaps fear  of being labeled a “tattletale” or simply  feel that it will not do anything but reality is that bystanders are a key component to end bullying in most cases.
